Biography

Harris Rosen, of Orlando, is the president and CEO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, Inc. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA Aquatic Center. Rosen is a member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen and the Waldorf Astoria Distinguished Alumni Association. He is the past president of the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitor's Bureau. His most recent philanthropic endeavor is a $2.5 million scholarship endowment for UCF, which has been matched by the state. Rosen also recently gave $18 million to build a new School of Hospitality Management at UCF. Rosen received his bachelor's degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in 1961. He is a charter member of the UCF Board of Trustees.
