Beverly J. Seay Chair
Professional Biography for Beverly Seay – Executive Director
Beverly Seay is the Executive Director for the Nebraska Applied Research Institute (NARI), specializing in applied research in cyber physical systems, data science, and modeling, simulation and visualization. She is a corporate leader, mentor, and technical visionary and has served and led government, industry and academic boards throughout the country. Throughout her career with SAIC, she pioneered the enterprise-wide Modeling and Simulation Center of Excellence and led the innovation of key pioneering approaches in systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and the delivery of complex, composable software and hardware systems. With over 40 years of professional experience, her efforts contributed to the foundation and standards that enabled the Modeling & Simulation community to grow into the vibrant and integrated ecosystem it is today. Her work on building partnerships with government, academia, and industry has expanded the use of simulation in new markets to include healthcare, emergency management, tourism, and cybersecurity.
Mrs. Seay’s current University Board memberships include the Board of Trustees at theUniversity of Central Florida, Chair of the University of Central Florida’s Engineering and Computer Science Dean’s Advisory Board and Chair of the Georgia Tech College of Computing Advisory Board. Mrs. Seay is also a member of the Association of Governing Boards (AGB), the Florida for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Executive Advisory Group, and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council.
She chairs the annual Florida Simulation Summit and will be inducted into the Modeling and Simulation Hall of Fame in June, 2017.
Mrs. Seay holds a Master of Science degree in Computers, Information and Control Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.

Kenneth W. Bradley is the Senior Vice President/Administrator at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, a 318-bed Florida Hospital. Bradley has more than 30 years of central Florida healthcare experience, including Campus CEO/COO of Florida Hospital Kissimmee and COO of Florida Hospital’s Celebration Health. Bradley’s professional roots are in human resources management.
Bradley was born at Florida Hospital, as was his father Don Bradley, who served the organization for more than 50 years in numerous capacities before retiring. He was raised in Winter Park, Florida. Four generations of Bradleys have served Florida Hospital since 1922. The Bradley family, which includes Ken, his father and mother, his paternal grandparents, his wife Ruth, and his nephew Chris, collectively has over 170 years of service to the Hospital.
Bradley is a community builder and civic leader. His civic and professional service includes elected and appointed office as well as volunteer leadership. He served two terms as the elected Mayor of Winter Park, Florida. Bradley was first elected in March 2009 and re-elected on January 31, 2012, with almost 72% of the vote.
In 2016, Bradley was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to serve on the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees. He also serves on the Wells Fargo Central Florida Community Bank Board. He has served on the Winter Park Library Board, and as a Board of Trustees member of the University of Central Florida Foundation and the Southwest Volusia Healthcare Corporation Board. He is a graduate of Leadership Florida, Class 25. Bradley was appointed by the State of Florida CFO to serve on the Florida Medical Malpractice Joint Underwriters Association. Previously, Bradley served as the Chairman of the Board/Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Board Member/Heart of Florida United Way, and Chairman of the Board/Community Vision of Osceola County. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Winter Park, with 29 years of perfect attendance. Additionally, he is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Bradley has received numerous awards including: University of Central Florida Business College Hall of Fame (2014), Adventist Health System’s Crystal Angel (2011), Winter Park Chamber Citizen of the Year (2010), and the Orlando Business Journal’s Central Florida’s Most Influential Businessmen award (2004 and 2010).
Bradley is a 1985 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Masters of Business Administration. In 1983, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Adventist University (formerly known as Southern College of Seventh-day Adventists) in Collegedale, Tennessee.
He is dedicated to making his hospital, his city, and the people of Winter Park the very best they can be. Ken also enjoys traveling, playing golf, collecting miniature airplanes, and spending time with his beloved family.

Marcos R. Marchena Ex Officio
MARCOS R. MARCHENA is the senior partner of Marchena and Graham, P.A. an Orlando business and government law firm, and serves as general counsel to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Currently Marcos serves on the Board of Trustees and also as an officer on the UCF Foundation Board. Marcos has served as Chairman of the Florida Transportation Commission, which provided oversight to the Florida Department of Transportation. He has also been Chairman of the Federal Middle District Court Nominating Committee, Chairman of the Valencia Community College Board of Trustees, the Orange County Planning and Zoning Commission and the City of Orlando Nominating Board. This year he was selected one of the 50 most powerful people in Orlando, Florida by Orlando Magazine. His prior recognitions include being selected as one of the Orlando Business Journal top 40 community leaders under 40. He has been recognized as one of the 10 top businessmen in Central Florida, and was also previously named to the Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine. Marcos was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1971 and has lived in Orlando since that year. Marcos received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He has been a member of the Bar of the State of Florida since 1985 and is also a member of the United States Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. Marcos and his wife Nancy have three daughters.
Dave Walsh was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas, Inc. (MHPSA) on April 1, 2014, with responsibility for the Western Hemisphere electric power generation business of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and Hitachi Ltd. of Japan. Mr. Walsh was the first non-Japanese corporate officer of MHPSA’s parent company, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd., in Japan. He was also the first American Board member of the America’s company, MHPSA. Mr. Walsh retired from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems in 2016, now serving as an advisor to various clients in the energy industry.
Prior to his appointment as President & CEO at MHPSA, Mr. Walsh had been Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Projects and Services. Mr. Walsh joined the company in 2001, and initially established the service and manufacturing business for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in the Western Hemisphere.
Previously, Mr. Walsh had been a senior executive at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in both power generation and industrial service roles as General Manager and Chairman of the Westinghouse global industrial and power generation service subsidiaries, with primary operations located in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Poland, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. He later became the senior executive and Vice Chairman responsible for the Westinghouse Electric power joint ventures in China, in partnership with the Shanghai Municipal Government and with the Chinese Ministry of Electric Power.
Mr. Walsh received his BS Commerce degree from The University of Virginia, and did Graduate Study in Finance at The University of Pittsburgh and at Northwestern University.
Mr. Walsh was an Enterprise Florida Board Member, and has previously been a Board Member of the Seminole County Foundation for Public Education, and served on the Seminole State College of Florida Foundation Board. Mr. Walsh has also been appointed Honorary Consul Japan, Orlando, by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2016, Governor Scott appointed Mr. Walsh to the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees with a term ending January 6, 2021.
Mr. Walsh and his wife Terri reside in the Central Florida area.
Bill Yeargin is President and CEO of Correct Craft, a ninety year old marine industry company with global operations. Correct Craft’s subsidiaries and brands include Nautique Boats,Centurion Boats, Supreme Boats, Bass Cat Boats, Yar-Craft Boats, Aktion Parks, Orlando Watersports Complex, Miami Watersports Complex, PCM Engines, Crusader Engines and Levitator Engines.
Under Bill’s leadership Correct Craft has won all of their industry’s major awards including Manufacturer of the Year, Boat of the Year, Most Innovative Product, and many others. Additionally, in a State with over 18,000 manufacturers, the company was recently recognized as Florida’s Manufacturer of the Year. One industry publication described Correct Craft under Bill’s leadership as being “on an aggressive improvement path the likes of which the marine industry has never seen.”
A passionate lifelong learner, Bill has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant. Bill has also studied international business at both Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has completed Lean Six Sigma programs through Villanova University, is Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certified, DISC certified, and is a Certified Personal Trainer.
Bill has served on numerous for profit and non-profit boards and is currently a member of the Manufacturing Council, a group of business leaders who advise U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Bill’s has personally received many of the marine industry’s most prestigious awards and was honored to be presented the Governor’s Ambassador Award by the Governor of Florida Bill is a prolific writer who has been published over two hundred times and authored two books. He has traveled around the world as a popular speaker at numerous management conferences.
Bill resides in Orlando, Florida. He is married with two adult daughters. Bill has traveled to all fifty US States and over one hundred countries.
