Christina Serra currently serves as the Interim Chief Compliance, Ethics, and Risk Officer for the University of Central Florida and is responsible for overseeing the university-wide compliance and ethics program. In her role as Director of Compliance and Ethics, Ms. Serra’s responsibilities include directing the university’s programs for conflict of interest, code of conduct, helpline, investigations, training, and awareness campaigns. Her compliance career spans 14 years building compliance and ethics programs from the ground up for multinational companies in the financial services, insurance, manufacturing, and industrial services industries, with the last five years concentrated in higher education. Ms. Serra attended Wilmington University where she earned her B.S. degree in Behavioral Science and her M.S. degree in Organizational Leadership. Ms. Serra’s professional certifications include Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and Certified Information Privacy Professional.
