Michael J. Morsberger joined the University of Central Florida as the Vice President for Advancement and CEO of the UCF Foundation in 2015. He is responsible for leadership, coordination, and oversight of all fundraising and alumni engagement activities for the university, including major, planned and annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, development operations, and campaigns. Mr. Morsberger also provides leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of UCF’s current comprehensive campaign; manages a personal portfolio of major donors and donor prospects; and provides leadership and management to the UCF Foundation’s senior leadership team. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the UCF Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization leading the management of foundation resources, including considerable real estate holdings; and assists the volunteer board in guiding the foundation’s affairs. A first-generation college graduate, he received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Radford University and his master’s degree in the study of philanthropy and development at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
