Shivani Vakharia

Shivani Vakharia is a senior at the University of Central Florida, pursuing a dual focus in Political Science and Industrial Organizational Psychology. A proud Florida native from Fort Lauderdale, she came to UCF with a strong commitment to academic excellence, civic engagement, and meaningful service. Since arriving on campus, she has been driven by a desire to contribute to her community and create a lasting, positive impact on the student experience.

Throughout her time at UCF, Shivani has been actively involved in the Panhellenic Community, where she has built meaningful relationships and developed a strong foundation in collaborative, values-driven leadership. Her work at the University Writing Center has allowed her to support students from diverse academic and personal backgrounds, helping them strengthen their writing, think critically, and gain confidence in their voices. In addition, her involvement in Knight-Thon reflects her continued dedication to service, contributing to initiatives that support children and families in need while fostering a spirit of philanthropy on campus.

These experiences have shaped Shivani’s passion for leadership, advocacy, and the ways institutions can better serve the individuals within them. As she approaches graduation, she remains deeply committed to leaving UCF better than she found it and to carrying forward the values of service, integrity, and representation into her future academic and professional endeavors.
